Hunter R. Sharp focuses his practice on complex transactional matters. He represents private equity firms, family offices and strategic investors in the structuring and negotiation of leveraged buyouts, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, growth equity investments, divestitures and other general corporate and governance matters.
Prior to joining McDermott, Hunter served as vice president and assistant general counsel at Newmark Knight Frank. There, he represented Newmark and its subsidiaries and advised its senior management team as lead counsel in structuring, negotiating and executing mergers, acquisitions, and debt and equity investments, in addition to general corporate matters.
