Prof. Rüdiger von Groll focuses his practice on tax litigation, procedural law, general tax law and turnover tax law (including ED Directive No. 6).
Prior to joining the Firm, Rüdiger served as of counsel at Raupach & Wollert-Elmendorff Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, the legal arm of Deloitte & Touche in Germany. He was appointed as judge at the Supreme Tax Court in 1986.
Rüdiger is co-author of, among-others, Gräber, Commentary on Tax Court Regulation, Kirchof/Söhn, Commentary on Income Tax Law and Hübschmann/Hepp/Spitaler, Commentary on the Tax Code. He is a professor for tax law at the University of Munich and for comparative tax law at the University of Bologna/Italy.
