Michael Peregrine was cited as author of a new report predicting 10 governance trends for non-profit hospitals and health systems in 2014. Among the trends discussed by Mr. Peregrine are choosing board members who have “the competencies necessary to address emerging operational needs,” reporting fully to the board on “risks that ‘keep management awake at night,’” and providing for “extraordinary board involvement” in key business initiatives and corporate challenges.
