Overview
M. Todd Welty, Mark Thomas, Laura Gavioli and Thomas Young have all joined McDermott’s tax practice as partners. The first three lawyers previously practiced with another large global law firm and will represent a wide range of corporate, business and individual clients in civil and criminal tax controversies, white collar matters, IRS controversies and other disputes. Mr. Young, formerly with KPMG, focuses on tax aspects of corporate transactions and on international tax planning.
