Jennifer Geetter asked pointed questions about a new iPhone software that allows users to enroll in clinical tests by downloading apps from providers who are recruiting patients: “With the use of consumer technologies to cooperate with traditional medical establishments … where is HIPAA? Is it regulated, or no?
