Munich, April 6, 2017 – The international corporate law firm McDermott Will & Emery has advised the owners of AAT Antriebstechnik GmbH, Mr Thomas Alber and Mr Markus Alber, on the sale of all shares to the traditional Swedish company REAC AB.
AAT Alber Antriebstechnik, a successful company in the rehabilitation and transport technology sector, sells mobile, flexible and practical stair climbing systems and powerpacks. REAC AB belongs to Investment AB Latour and has enjoyed success as a supplier on the rehabilitation market for many years.
The sale of AAT Alber Antriebstechnik, founded in 1995, has established a secure, promising plan of succession which will allow the company to continue to expand its market position in the long term, and to meet the mounting demands of the future. The company shall remain an independent company within REAC AB. The Albstadt site has been secured for the long term thanks to the recent expansion of its production facility.
The McDermott team was under the leadership of the Munich-based partner Dr Carsten Böhm.
