Stephen Kranz said that if the Alabama Department of Revenue resumes its attempts to apply the state’s rental tax to digital streaming services, “I would hope they end up in court as have the other jurisdictions that have attempted to set law without the involvement of the legislature. If it is a broader attack on digital accessed services, I would expect the same.”
