Alysse McLoughlin commented on state responses to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act during an event by the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center. “I have a lot of clients who don’t have a GILTI problem at the federal level,” McLoughlin said. “They don’t understand that yes, at the state level — if you’re not looking at the foreign tax credits — you do have a GILTI issue.”
