Dale Van Denmark noted that “the lack of uniformity in state law makes it very challenging” to conduct telehealth operations in a multi-state environment. “States are not consistent from a policy perspective in how they view telemedicine” despite its “general and rapid acceptance,” he continued, such that telehealth has “more acceptance generally, but plenty of states are not marching down that path in the same way … There are vastly different requirements via telemedicine, and in some instances, these variances are impractical.” Read the full article
