Sandra DiVarco, in this nationally televised interview, addressed the preparedness of health care providers to deal with the ebola virus. “As long as clinicians are trained and have the resources available to them, I think … we can assume they’ll do the best they can to remain safe” in treating the infection, Ms. DiVarco said, adding that ebola “is an exceptional circumstance. While clearly the CDC and hospital facilities are used to dealing with infectious diseases, ebola is not one we’ve had to deal with in this country and there’s going to be a learning curve.” Watch the full interview.
