Timothy Walsh explained the impact of bankruptcy filing choices on ambulatory surgery centers. Mr. Walsh noted that a center would make a Chapter 11 filing “with the hope of being able to reorganize,” but “if it appears that the case is just languishing in Chapter 11 and … there is no likelihood of a successful reorganization,” the bankruptcy trustee or creditors might force a Chapter 7 filing.
