McDermott was noted as advising Boston-based private equity firm Advent International on its purchase of a majority ownership interest in Illinois-based ATI Physical Therapy from KRG Capital Partners. The deal, estimated at a value of $1.9 billion, is expected to close in the second quarter of 2016.
