Jean-Claude Petilon said the need for infrastructure projects in Africa “is very demanding. There are a lot of infrastructure projects for drinking water and energy happening now.” Mr. Petilon explained that many African country legal systems are based upon the country that colonized them. “Lawyers in Francophone countries are members of the local bar and the Paris bar,” he said. “These historic relationships are important.”
