Debra Harrison, leader of McDermott’s “corporate services team” which uses staff attorneys to assist the Firm’s transactional lawyers, said team members “are available to partners for any high volume document review or production, but due diligence is their main workload. Clients love it, because we’re being proactive and providing a product that can be done at a lower billing rate. And we work with the deal teams so they understand the client and the deal.”
