Stephen Ryan said Donald Trump’s election will result in “an immediate change with regard to rulemaking. Any rulemaking in the works with agencies that historically have not been favored by Republican majorities … may be subject to a freeze and/or rollback. And all recently finished regulations being implemented could be suspended pending review,” particularly those related to climate change. He added however that “the ingredients exist for comprehensive tax reform” under a Trump Administration.
