Michael Morgan said that blockchain, in addition to helping vehicles become more autonomous, could foster encryption to preserve anonymity of transactions using such vehicles. “Not everyone wants to have a company like Uber know they went from point A to point B,” Mr. Morgan noted, adding that crypto-currency combined with a blockchain-secured digital identity would also facilitate micro insurance for a short ride or a small set of interactions.
