Overview
Mark Pearlstein assessed the legal defense used by a friend convicted of aiding the accused Boston Marathon bomber (that he was too high on marijuana to remember his involvement), saying that “the jury spent a fair amount of time considering the defense, especially the marijuana use defense, but ultimately concluded the government had proven its case.” Mr. Pearlstein added concerning the defendant that “clearly he and his lawyers believed they had a fair shot at being acquitted.”
