Margaret Warner was noted as arguing for the WTC Captive, New York City and its contractors in settlement of 9/11 first responder claims. In a current dispute over attorney fees in the matter, McDermott issued a statement saying the WTC Captive argued “that the proper measure was clearly set forth in the agreement as the number of cases filed, and that such cases did not have to remain pending to impact the amount due.”
