McDermott has engaged a former assistant Solicitor General to help lead the response to a Federal Circuit appeal filed by Sanofi, which seeks to stay a Delaware federal court’s permanent injunction against sale of Sanofi’s anti-cholesterol drug following last year’s jury verdict, which upheld the validity of McDermott client Amgen’s patents on its drug Repatha.
