LOS ANGELES, ORANGE COUNTY and SILICON VALLEY (April 9, 2014) — Four McDermott Will & Emery partners have been selected by Daily Journal, California’s largest legal news provider, for its annual rankings of the “Top 75 IP Litigators / Top 25 Portfolio Managers” for 2014.
The McDermott partners included in this year’s edition are prominent intellectual property litigators Yar R. Chaikovsky and Fabio E. Marino as well as top patent prosecutors Jorge R. Arciniega and Mark J. Itri, who is also head of McDermott’s IP Prosecution, Transactions & Strategy Practice Group. This is the sixth time that Mr. Itri has been selected for this ranking, fifth time for Mr. Chaikovsky, third time for Mr. Arciniega and the second year in a row for Mr. Marino.
Daily Journal’s annual list of “Top 75 IP Litigators / Top 25 Portfolio Managers” showcases the state’s top intellectual property litigators and portfolio managers, compiled from hundreds of nominations submitted by lawyers. Finalists are determined by the impact of their work and achievements in the intellectual property arena.
The attorneys will be honored at a reception taking place this evening at the Rosewood Sand Hill in Menlo Park, CA.
