SILICON VALLEY (April 22, 2015) — Silicon Valley based partner, William (Bill) Gaede, has been selected by the Daily Journal for its 2015 list of the “Top 75 IP Litigators.”
The Daily Journal’s annual list of the “Top 75 IP Litigators” showcases California’s top intellectual property litigators compiled from hundreds of nominations. Finalists are determined by the impact of their work and achievements in the intellectual property arena.
Over his 26-year career, Mr. Gaede has had many praiseworthy achievements as an IP litigator. This past year, his representation of Ambry Genetics in University of Utah Research Foundation, Myriad Genetics et al. v. Ambry Genetics Corporation significantly expanded the market for hereditary breast and ovarian cancer testing by providing women a choice of BRCA testing services, thereby expanding access and lowering cost. Together his work on behalf of Ambry Genetics and other clients within the life sciences industry helped earn Mr. Gaede a well-deserved place among the Daily Journal’s “Top 75 IP Litigators” of 2015.
