Jorge Arciniega was recognized as a top California IP lawyer for his trademark and branding work on matters for such major clients as Univision Communications Inc., but he also played a major role advising philanthropist Peter Thum on his effort to get guns off the street by exchanging them for money, melting the guns down and teaming up with top fashion designers to create jewelry and watches, with the proceeds funneled back to the community. Mr. Arciniega has been counseling Thum on the prosecution and licensing of Fonderie 47, named after the famous weapon, as well as another new venture.
