M. Miller Baker, Stephen Kranz, and Diann Smith continue to represent three major oil companies in appeals of $3.8 million in assessments issued by the DC Office of Tax and Revenue based on transfer pricing analyses conducted by Chainbridge Software LLC. The judge in the case rejected summary judgment and directed the parties to exhaust all settlement possibilities ahead of a status conference; any of the cases not settled would head to trial.
