Diablo Owes Netlist $6.5M For Chip Secret Theft, Jury Told

Overview

Russell Hayman, representing technology company Diablo in a jury trial over whether it sold semiconductor chips that plaintiff Netlist alleges were based on stolen technology, argued that Netlist never disclosed the trade secrets to Diablo that it claims Diablo stole, and that Diablo never sold products that infringed Netlist’s inventions. “Diablo knew this information before it ever partnered with Netlist,” Mr. Hayman told the jury. “Netlist is trying to take credit for all of Diablo’s hard work,” Also representing Diablo for McDermott are Fabio Marino, Barrington Dyer, Nitin Gambhir, Lauren Kieckhefer and Teri Nguyen.
