Commenting on the settlement in the BP Products North America Inc. transfer pricing case, which requires the District of Columbia to refund over $140,000 to BP, Stephen Kranz said he did not view the settlement as any sort of precedent. “From the seat of a lawyer representing many companies on the issue, I am not at all concerned about the impact that settlement has on the landscape,” he said.
