Energy Cases to Watch in 2014


Jacob Hollinger said that the Supreme Court’s expected 2014 ruling on the EPA’s cross-state air pollution rule, which forces states to reduce emissions from power plants that travel across borders, represents “a really fascinating conflict between upwind states and downwind states, and there’s also a split in the industry. The big electric utilities, they oppose the rule, but there are two companies in the power generation sector that support the rule.”
