Pierre-Arnoux Mayoly wrote this bylined article describing how French private equity firms are now very interested in the pre-financing of their capital calls from their investors. Called either an Equity Bridge Facility (ELF), or Capital Call Subscription Facility, this is a credit line which aims to pre-finance investor capital in the fund and whose aim is a rationalization of capital calls.
