Christoper Bright said that the Firm’s client, a Japanese consumer electronic products company, was “pleased that the Federal Circuit affirmed the ITC’s finding of no violation” regarding infringement allegations over patents for Internet-connected home entertainment products. Mr. Bright added that the decision “vindicated” the company and “this result should finally resolve the dispute” over the patents. Also representing the company for McDermott were Paul Devinsky, Christopher May, Joshua Rogaczewski and Natalie Bennett.
