Overview
Amol Parikh, Joseph Paquin, Jr. and Paul Devinsky were counsel to a major tool maker in an ongoing patent dispute with a competitor over tool batteries. Although the Federal Circuit concluded that the Patent and Trial Board was not entirely correct in its rulings regarding the batteries, the court upheld the PTAB conclusion that the batteries were non-obvious over prior art.
