Nicole Jantzi assessed current US patent litigation trends. “It seems that there is a resurgence of competitor litigation,” Ms. Jantzi said she is “handling several competitor disputes that just came to a head in the last few months, two of which I am the plaintiff on, and I haven’t seen that sort of activity in several years.” She concluded that “companies are again focusing on cases that matter to their business, rather than on troll litigation”
