Firms Should Lead in Creating Inclusive Workplaces for Transgender Workers

Lisa Linsky told a webinar that employers should create a more inclusive environment for transgender employees to reflect legal and social advancements made by LGBT Americans in recent years. Ms. Linsky noted that “transgender identity is significantly underreported,” in part because “so many transgender people are closeted for fear of losing their jobs, their families, or becoming victims of violence.”
