Read Moore urged trust lawyers to tell clients how certain states allow courts to “decant” outdated trusts into new ones. “Some clients are appalled to learn that their trusts can be rewritten,” Mr. Moore said, adding that such clients “need to find a state that won’t let that happen, and you need to be sure that the lawyers who draft it understand that you don’t want it to happen.” Read the full article.
