Todd Solomon said that “the landscape totally changes” for health insurance and other benefit programs offered by employers to same-sex couples if the Supreme Court decides that these couples are constitutionally entitled to marry. Such a decision will likely result in more employers dropping same-sex partner benefits in favor of spousal benefits for all married couples, according to Mr. Solomon.
