Sabine Konrad, commenting on the affect that Russia’s annexation of Crimea may have on U.S. investors, said, “Because there is no U.S.-Russia investment treaty, U.S. investors have to be extremely careful. U.S. investors should consider restructuring their investments now, before any Russian intervention, to be protected by investment treaties of other countries.”
