Paul Schoenhard said he would like Congress to clarify the law on the proper venue for patent litigation and resolve questions left unanswered by TC Heartland. “A simple resolution would be to amend the patent venue statute so as to find venue proper for multiple parties based on one act of infringement” by one of the related parties, Schoenhard said.
