Jeffrey Brennan called the Third Circuit’s endorsement of the FTC’s geographic market analysis method in a case contesting a Pennsylvania hospital merger “a very significant victory for the FTC.” The Third Circuit’s application of the analysis method in hospital mergers is “definitely a boost” for future cases, Mr. Brennan added.
