CHICAGO — McDermott Will & Emery LLP is once again recognized among the world’s leading patent law practitioners by the Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) Patent 1000 2018. For the second consecutive year, partner Joanne Ludovici was included among the “World’s Leading IP Strategists” in the IAM Strategy 300 for her outstanding work developing and implementing intellectual property programs.
The Firm received Silver Band rankings for Litigation in California, Illinois and Massachusetts and moved up to a Bronze Band in DC Metro Area. According to IAM, “McDermott’s trial lawyers are not confined to one industry or subject matter – they have eminently transferable advocacy skills as well as strong technical acumen in a general sense.” The Firm was recommended in Prosecution and Transactions in DC Metro Area, Massachusetts and California, where it is noted for “doing interesting and sophisticated things around data analytics, which is fueling the growth in demand for its counselling and prosecution services.” This year the Firm received its first recognition for Infringement in Germany, garnering a Bronze Band ranking.
