James Kapp, who represents the trustee of bondholders for a Chicago-area ice center which has filed a plan to exit bankruptcy, said the settlement he is negotiating with the amateur hockey club that led the ice center venture that would be more palatable to his client than the terms proposed in the reorganization plan.
