Eric Zimmerman, as principal in the Firm’s new McDermott+Consulting subsidiary, said that the organization’s mix of lobbying, analysis and legal services for the health care sector “is a service that McDermott has provided for quite some time. What’s new is setting it up as a distinct business enterprise, with a special focus on these particular services.” Mr. Zimmerman added that another McDermott+Consulting benefit for clients will be the ability to use alternatives to “the traditional legal billing structure.”
