Wilson Chu, described as a “pillar of the Asian-American bar,” discussed co-authoring a 2015 challenge to install 20 Asian-Americans as Fortune 500 general counsel by 2020. “We didn’t think we could make it,” Mr. Chu said, but the goal was reached in December 2017. “By the first quarter of 2018, we could be 23,” he added. “Maybe we should shoot for 40 by 2020!”
