International law firm McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce that Miami-based Partners Jerry Sokol and Dana Dombey have been honored as part of the Daily Business Review’s Florida Legal Awards. Jerry has been named a Distinguished Leader, while Dana is honored within the On the Rise category.
As one of the leading healthcare lawyers in the United States, Jerry has built a robust practice focused on the business aspects of healthcare law with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and various contractual arrangements in the industry. He is also a leader within McDermott, having served as the office managing partner for our Miami office from 2017 to 2021 and now serving as global head of the Healthcare practice. Jerry is also an active member of the Firm’s Management Committee.
Speaking to her On the Rise recognition, Dana has a national practice focused on transactions and healthcare regulatory matters affecting healthcare companies and investors in the industry. Dana serves as practice area leader for McDermott’s Physician Practice Management (PPM) practice area, leader of the Healthcare Drafting Skills Workshop and a member of the Firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, Recruiting Committee and Pro Bono and Community Service Committee.
