Judith Mohr was recognized the top 100 intellectual property lawyers in California for combining her chemical engineering and business skills to prosecute up to 70 patents for clients last year. “A patent estate is a business tool,” Ms. Mohr said. “In writing a patent I really have to understand the goal the company wants to achieve.”
