Key Justices Hard to Read in King v. Burwell Arguments

Ankur Goel, who co-authored a Supreme Court amicus brief for the American Public Health Association siding with the Administration in the King v. Burwell Affordable Care Act case, suggested that “what you can anticipate is the possibility that those [conservative Justices] who are on [the opposing] side of the case will be making a pitch” to claim “it’s not the case” that deciding against the government will cause a “death spiral” for the ACA.
