Volker Teigelkötter, the Firm’s labor law practice group leader in Düsseldorf, suggested in this interview that “from the German viewpoint there are almost no ‘national’ labor law mandates any more. There is hardly a German business restructuring which does not involve a foreign shareholder or other decision-maker.” He added that companies need a labor law counsel with access to international resources and strong qualifications in all aspects of labor law.
