Joanne Ludovici said that, with the Supreme Court’s overturn of the government’s ban on registering offensive trademarks, “The floodgates are now open. You can use and now also federally register any trademark you want regardless of whether the government believes it’s disparaging. The USPTO will now be working through a backlog of applications that were suspended pending the Supreme Court ruling.”
