February 27, 2017 – McDermott is pleased to announce that Louise Aberg, senior associate in the Firm’s Antitrust & Competition practice group, has been selected by W@Competition and Policy and Regulatory Report (PaRR) as one of the “30 in their 30s” Notable Women Competition Professionals. The W@Competition and PaRR survey features 30 outstanding women aged between 30 and 40, who are considered to be future champions in Europe’s competition field.
Ms. Aberg is based out of the Firm’s Paris office and focuses on EU and French competition law. She has advised international clients on a broad range of competition matters, including merger, cartel, abuse and state aid cases.
Additionally, Ms. Aberg regularly advises companies on distribution agreements and compliance programs and is licensed to practice in France as well as in the United States (New York).

ABOUT “30 IN THEIR 30s” SURVEY, W@COMPETITION AND PARR
W@Competition is a platform that promotes women competition professionals based on their merit. Policy and Regulatory Report is a regulatory and competition news service, part of Mergermarket Group. The “30 in their 30s” finalists were selected by a jury of three independent experienced competition professionals who, among others, reviewed anonymized submissions for each nominee. Client and peer feedback was also collected during selection process. The final list of 30 was revealed in Brussels on February 16, 2017 at a dedicated reception.
