Luxottica Successfully Signs up to Italian “Patent Box” Tax Relief Regime

Carlo Paolella and Andrea Tempestini have successfully advised premium retailer, Luxottica, on their opt-in to the Italian “Patent Box” tax relief regime. The scheme was introduced by the Italian government in 2015 and provides tax relief for companies deriving income from the use of intellectual property, industrial patents, trademarks, designs and protected models.
