Stephen Ryan, in this radio interview, explained a federal court’s go-ahead to his lawsuit on behalf of opposition to a high-speed Florida rail project. The Department of Transportation’s bond subsidy for the project “equates to a $600 million hole in the budget that would be charged to all of the citizens of the United States,” Mr. Ryan said. “That was the issue we were fighting in court – they did the subsidization in these bonds without regard to the environmental laws.” Hear the full interview.
