Overview
Alysse McLoughlin, who rejoined McDermott as a state and local tax practice partner in the New York office after practicing with the firm from 1996 to 2006, said she made the move “because I was ready for a new challenge.” At her previous employer, a multinational financial company, Ms. McLoughlin said she had a “hands-on role in the provision and the tax return process, because there was no one else to perform these functions. It was a great learning experience.” Joining her in the New York state and local tax group is counsel Richard Call, who was formerly at another major law firm.
