Michael Morgan, who has more than 20 years’ experience representing clients in class actions and complex litigation involving cybersecurity, privacy and business data protection, left another major law firm to join McDermott in Los Angeles as a partner and co-leader of the privacy and data protection practice. Mr. Morgan called his decision to move “an easy one,” citing as key factors that McDermott “offers an outstanding global platform for the practice I have, and my colleagues are terrific. This is a great opportunity and it’ll be a privilege to work here.”
